Thanks to everyone who cooked or served for SCB's occasional meal service at Covenant House on January 17, 2017. Covenant House is a shelter for young people ages 16-24. They provide housing, hot meals, and job training. They also help find permanent housing for their residents. They are proud to say that they are never full; they will always find a spot for a young person in need. Please read more and consider joining us when we return to serve the homeless youth of our area.
NOLA City Planning Commission voted unanimously on Tuesday September 13 on Adult Live Entertainment Venues, recommending City Council to proceed with study. Thank you all who wrote during the period for public comment & for all who prayed! Updates on the City Council's work will be posted as they continue the work. Go here for more information…
